Je me suis formée au dessin auprès de Gérard Venturelli dans les ateliers de modèles vivants. Par ailleurs je suis actrice, professeur de théâtre à Paris et en banlieue, metteur en scène. J’ai vécu et travaillé en Angleterre, Allemagne et en Italie. En Angleterre, je remporte un prix d’interprétation au sein de la Royal Shakespeare Company.

La peinture, le dessin prennent une place importante à partir de 2010. En 2014, deux de mes dessins sont sélectionnés pour être exposés à la Biennale de Cuiseaux.
J’ai signé la conception d’une pochette d’album et d’affiches de théâtre.
En 2016, je participe en tant que "peintre décors" à plusieurs longs métrages (Klapisch, Haneke, Polanski)
En 2018, j'expose au sein de la société Primonial.
En 2021, je suis en résidence artistique à Briare.
Mai - juin 2022, je signe un livre "Peindre est un processus d'enchantement" (entretien d'artiste avec Alain Coulange) au milieu de certaines de mes toiles exposées à l'atelier de Loo and Lou Gallery, 75003 Paris.
Novembre 2022, je participe à l'exposition collective Vivarium, à la Galerie Plateforme.
Mai 2023, Le styliste Olivier Battino présente sa collection de printemps, avec des T-Shirts ornés de motifs tirés de mes tableaux.
2024, je participe à l'Exposition collective curateur Laurent Quenehen à la galerie 24b à Paris. Et j'acquiers un lieu à Briare pour créer mon nouvel atelier.
Juin-juillet 2024, j'assiste l'artiste Bruno Rousselot sur une peinture murale de l'Église Saint-Firmin à Amilly (Loiret - France).
I trained in drawing with Gérard Venturelli in the living model workshops. In addition, I am an actress, theatre teacher and director in Paris and the suburbs. I have lived and worked in England, Germany and Italy. In England, I won an interpretation prize with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

November 2022, I take part to the groupe show Vivarium, at the Platforme Gallery.
May 2023, Stylist Olivier Battino presents his spring collection, with T-Shirts decorated with patterns taken from my paintings.
2024, I participate in the collective exhibition curated by Laurent Quenehen at the 24b gallery in Paris.
And I acquire a place in Briare to create my new studio.
June-July 2024, I assist the artist Bruno Rousselot on a mural painting of the Saint-Firmin Church in Amilly (Loiret - France).

Le langage de l’harmonie
Karine Adrover est une artiste tout à fait inclassable, dont la singularité graphique s’exprime aussi bien en un langage aérien, fait de signes qui flottent dans la lumière, qu’en une manière plus abrupte, où se croisent et se répondent les à-plats de couleurs pures. Dans d’autres peintures, elle fait se rencontrer ces deux approches apparemment étrangères.
La relation mutuelle entre forme et espace prends corps sous le pinceau de Karine Adrover dans la trajectoire d’une perception instantanée, implacable moment de vérité.
Son art un instant peut évoquer l’expressionnisme abstrait, le push and pull américain, et puis aussitôt il nous emporte au-delà, nous arrive l’écho du Ch’an et de l’art zen. Son lexique pictural expérimente le vide, les signes joueurs s’affrontent au blanc des réserves ou à la couleur du fonds sur lequel ils sont en suspension. Un paysage se dessine, disparait, et puis revient.
Cette singularité graphique voit son intensité démultipliée par l’acidité des traits. Leur vivacité dynamise l’énergie des couleurs pures et puissantes, brossées en larges plages, dessinant une musique si bien orchestrée que ce qui de prime abord pourrait paraître désarticulé se révèle comme un langage propre. Dans cet ensemble ordonné qu’est l’univers de Karine Adrover s’organisent des dialogues, des réseaux d’entrelacs, tous gouvernés par la recherche de l’harmonie.

The language of harmony
Karine Adrover is a completely unclassifiable artist, whose graphic singularity is expressed both in an aerial language, made of signs that float in the light, and in a more abrupt way, where the flat areas of pure colours cross and respond to each other. In other paintings, she brings these two apparently foreign approaches together.
The mutual relationship between form and space takes shape under Karine Adrover's brush in the trajectory of an instantaneous perception, an implacable moment of truth.
Her art for a moment can evoke abstract expressionism, American push and pull, and then immediately it takes us beyond, the echo of Ch'an and Zen art comes to us. Its pictorial lexicon has to do with emptiness, playful signs confront each other with the white of the reserves or the colour of the background on which they are suspended. A landscape emerges, disappears, and then returns.
This graphic singularity sees its intensity multiplied by the acidity of the lines. Their liveliness emphasize the energy of pure and powerful colours, brushed into wide areas, drawing music so well orchestrated that what might at first seem disjointed is revealed as a language of its own. In this ordered ensemble which is Karine Adrover's universe, dialogues and networks of interlacing are organized, all governed by the search for harmony.
